Google ads project manager

Job Description:

Resilience, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to improving the mental health of students, as well as reducing mass shootings, suicide, and depression. Resilience, Inc also works to combat declining test scores, low student engagement, and a slew of other social issues. 

  

Our organization focuses on offering Social Emotional Learning tools to enable K-12 schools to teach emotional intelligence through five core topics; self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, relationship management, goal setting, and effective decision-making. Resilience, Inc. also provides tools for acquiring and maintaining inspiration, hope, and overall well-being.

Resilience offers unpaid internship programs that require at least a 4 month commitment with a minimum of 5 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement

 

Although this is an unpaid internship, there is the opportunity to earn school credit. Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.

 

Daily Expectation

As the Google Ads Project Manager, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Advertising, your daily expectations will include:

  1. Campaign Management: Assist in setting up, monitoring, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns for various clients.
  2. Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords.
  3. Ad Creation: Create and optimize ad copy to improve ad relevance and click-through rates.
  4. Bid Management: Adjust bidding strategies to maximize ROI and achieve campaign objectives.
  5. Analytics and Reporting: Analyze campaign performance data and generate reports to inform optimization efforts.
  6. Budget Management: Monitor daily ad spend and make necessary adjustments to stay within budget allocations.
  7. Communication: Collaborate with team members and clients to provide updates on campaign progress and results.
  8. Delegating: Divide work to other team members as needed.

Requirements:

To fulfill the role successfully, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  2. Strong interest in digital marketing, specifically Google Ads.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  6. Basic understanding of Google Ads or digital advertising concepts is a plus.
  7. Ability to work independently, while also being a team player and attending remote meetings on a weekly basis.
  8. Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
  9. Consistent communication with team members and a willingness to learn and improve critical skills.
  10. Receptiveness to feedback and problem-solving skills.
  11. Objective-driven approach to learning and development.
  12. Excellent communication skills and personal accountability, with the ability to hold others accountable as needed.
  13. Managerial skills for effective delegation of work.
  14. Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week, with flexibility during exam weeks.
